Megan Cusack – Barrister

Megan first commenced practice as a solicitor in 1992 in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, initially in Sydney then Lismore when she moved to the area in 1995 .

Following her move to the Northern Rivers she worked as a solicitor for the Aboriginal Legal Service and the Legal Aid Commission in Lismore.

Megan was called to the Bar in 2001 and practices extensively in criminal matters in the District and Local Courts in the North Coast ,New England and mid North coast.

Megan accepts matters directly from the public in most Local Court and District Court sentence appeals.

  • Sentences, defended hearings; Apprehended personal and domestic violence matters, committal proceedings.
